Aufgaben
· Theoretical research in quantum simulation of non-abelian lattice gauge theories
· Contribute to writing scientific publications
· Presenting latest scientific results at conferences and workshops
· Supporting supervision of PhD, master and bachelor students
Anforderungen
· Master’s degree in physics with focus on theoretical quantum physics
· Demonstrated experience in at least one of and strong interest in the following subjects
o Quantum computing with qudits, quantum error correction
o Quantum optics of trapped ions and Rydberg atoms
o Numerical tensor network methods
o Topological order and (de)confinement in stringnet models
o Quantum field theory, lattice gauge theory
· Excellent communications in spoken and written English
