Aufgaben
- Interdisciplinary research activities in the field of laser-based gas sensing
- Optical setup development and operation
- Design and implementation of software tools for instrument control, automation, and data analysis
- Independent publishing activity

Anforderungen
- Completion of an appropriate doctorate (in chemistry, physics or a related field) and in-depth knowledge of the subject area
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of optics/photonics
- Hands-on experience with tunable diode laser spectroscopy
- Experience in experimental laboratory work, including optical alignment, instrument operation, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Experience with trace gas detection and/or environmental monitoring
- Programming skills for measurement automation, data processing, and analysis (e.g., MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, or similar)
- Ability to conduct research independently
- Experience in national and international research cooperation as well as in project management
- Track record of scientific publications and conference presentations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
