Anforderungen
- The successful candidate must hold a completed Ph.D. in Bioinformatics / Molecular Life Sciences
- Excellent written and spoken English skills (minimum B2 level); basic knowledge of German is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and willingness to work in a team
- Independent research (corresponding to the institute’s research field in the context of mechanistic studies of inflammatory diseases)
- Biological background with practical laboratory experience, in particular experience with CRISPR screens
- Experience in the analysis and interpretation of biological datasets, particularly omics data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics)
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis and data visualization
- A proven track record of successfully securing external research funding and fellowships is an advantage
