Aufgaben
You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:
- You are involved in research projects and scientific studies in the area of Finance.
- We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
- You work on your dissertation and its completion.
- You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.

Anforderungen
- Completed Master's degree in the field of Economics, Financial Mathematics and Finance.
- Interested in pursuing research in the areas of Financial Intermediation and Corporate Finance, with special emphasis on fintech and its implications for financial institutions and firms.
- Basic experience in academic writing and with research methods (e.g. relevant training. academic publications)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 Level), futhermore good command of German is desirable but not a prerequisite.
- IT user skills: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Knowledge of software packages for qualitative (e.g. Atlas.ti, Nvivo) and quantitative (e.g. SPSS, R) data analysis is an advantage.
